Data & Account Deletion

At Almarwah Mall, we respect your privacy and provide you with full control over your account and personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your account and associated data.

1. How to Request Deletion

You can request the deletion of your Almarwah Mall account and personal data in the following ways:

Option 1 – In-App Request

1. Open the Almarwah Mall app.
2. Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your deletion request.

Option 2 – Email Request

1. Send an email to [email protected] from your registered email address.
2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
3. Include your registered name, phone number, and account email in the message.

2. Data That Will Be Deleted

Once your account deletion request is processed, the following data will be permanently deleted:

1. Personal identification details (name, email address, phone number)
2. Shipping and billing addresses
3. Wishlist and saved product preferences
4. Order history (except where retention is required by law)
5. App usage history linked to your account

3. Data That May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained even after account deletion if required by applicable laws, including:

1. Transaction and payment records (for tax and accounting compliance)
2. Fraud prevention and security logs (retained for up to 180 days)

After the retention period expires, this data will be permanently deleted.

4. Processing Time

1. All deletion requests will be processed within 7 business days of confirmation.
2. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.

5. Partial Data Deletion (Optional)

If you wish to delete specific data only without closing your account (e.g., saved addresses, wishlist, payment details), please email [email protected] with your request.
